Traditionally in the construction industry, the “Client” and the “Main Contractor” are too often seen in adversarial roles. We aim to narrow this gap by fostering and encouraging a “PARTNERING” oriented approach where all parties work together for the common objective of completing a respective project on time, to the quality desired and within the budget constraints.
We aim to achieve this objective by adopting the following procedures:
(see also Understanding and Appreciating Our Client Needs)
- More involvement in the early design stages of a construction project;
- Adopting an “OPEN BOOK” accounting process;
- Establishing and maintaining effective and efficient lines of open communication;
- Actively participating in problem solving exercises aimed at providing optimal design and construction solutions;
- Actively participating in value engineering exercises aimed at achieving optimal cost versus value solutions;
- Actively participating in the production of realistic and optimal construction program.
It is through our ability to provide these services to our Clients that we contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork for every project.
We recognize the significant benefits and importance which are attributed to a loyal, well educated and well experienced workforce and engineer. These workforce and engineer are also essential to the achievement of time, cost and quality objectives demanded by our Clients. It is for these reasons we have embarked upon a more thorough staff skills and developing training programs. These include for example: English language classes, overseas visits to research new construction management techniques and new innovative methods and attendance at construction industry seminars and exhibitions.
We will continue to develop these staff and engineer skills and development training schemes to ensure our organization is equipped to provide the dedicated and professional service demanded by our Clients.
Our management staff are continually educated and trained to be capable of working in the flexible manner necessary for success in today’s global construction industry environment.
We see the importance of health and safety in the workplace as a fundamental issue which affects primarily the good health and well-being of our workforce, sub-contractors and third parties alike. It is also of significant importance in the achievement of time, cost and quality objectives demanded by Clients. Throughout the project’s duration and based on the best international principles we have implemented standardized health and safety policies and procedures which include: the issue of site safety equipment, site safety meetings; site safety inspections; site safety reporting; site and safety signage.
